materials
We use only high quality materials in our jewellery to ensure the
best possible experience for the customer. We use at least sterling
quality silver and varying grades of gemstones and freshwater
pearls along with professional quality beading wire.
Silver
Silver Wire
We incorporate a lot of silver wire in our designs, of both sterling and fine silver quality. Many of the pieces include hand wrapped wire components that give our jewellery a distinct look of hand made quality. We use various thicknesses (gauges) of silver wire to suit the task in hand. As all our wire wrapping is done by hand by our designer we use mostly soft and half hard wires as they are most suited to our purposes.
Bali Sterling Silver
Our Bali silver is imported directly from Sanur in Bali, Indonesia
and represents the utmost of quality and attention to detail produced
by local Bali silversmiths. The silver is of Sterling silver quality
which means it contains at least 92.5% silver. We use a variety of
clasps, beads, chains and silver wire from Bali and it never stops to
amaze us how good the quality of this silver is.
Hill Tribe silver
We buy our Hill Tribe silver directly from Thailand. This silver is
of a higher silver content than standard Sterling silver, at 95-99%
silver in content. This higher quality is usually called "fine silver" and means the silver is slightly brighter in
appearance and also very slightly softer than sterling silver. The
2 types of silver mix effortlessly in our designs. The Hill Tribe is a
tribe that lives in the mountain areas of Thailand and have a long
tradition of silversmithing. Buying from them supports their survival
and provides them with a means to making a living and being able to
carry the tradition from generation to generation. The Hill Tribe
silver is traditionally used to decorate clothing and various other
tribal elements.
Gemstones
Our gemstones are sourced from multiple suppliers and originate from

Freshwater Pearls
We use varying grades and sizes of freshwater pearls imported from
Asia in our designs. Where we can, we will note the grade of pearls
used in a design.
Jewellery Beading Wire
We only use professional quality beading wire in our jewellery. The
wire is made from 49 tiny strands of stainless steel twisted together
and coated with nylon. This wire is superior in strength and durability
and we use various different thicknesses of this to guarantee the best
possible wear. The wire drapes beautifully due to its many strands
twisted together. This is the preferred type of wire for any
professional jewellery designer.
