Necklaces

Necklace lengths varies amongst our designs and for some you can select the length before adding to the basket. In cases where this option is not displayed, please contact us and we can make one up to your desired length. There is usually only a small extra charge for this service.

Necklaces can obviously be any length you can imagine, but there are a few standard lengths that can help you decide on length:

Collar

This is a very short necklace that sits snugly high up on the neck and usually measures 12 to 13 inches.

Choker

A choker necklace is 14 to 16 inches in length and is meant to lie around the base of the neck, just above the collarbone. This is a very versatile length and can be worn with almost anything. This is one of the most common lengths in the CAMALI DESIGN range.

Princess

A princess length necklace measures from 17 to 20 inches and hangs just below the collarbone. Can be worn with most things, whether high or low neckline. This is another commonly used length in our range of necklaces.

Matinee

The matinee necklace is 20 to 24 inches in length and will hang a little bit further down on your chest than the princess length.

Opera

The opera necklace measures from 28 to 34 inches in length and hangs down to the top of your tummy. You can wear this long or wrap it to a shorter double stranded necklace.

Rope

The rope necklace is a very long necklace that measures over 45 inches in length and hangs down to the middle of your tummy. This length can also be worn double stranded.

Lariat

A lariat is a necklace that can be adjusted in length. It is usually at least 45 inches and has a clasp or attachment at the front that can be used to adjust the length and style. A lariat can also be a necklace without clasp that is knotted at the front or just wrapped around the neck.

Bracelets

Just as necklaces, bracelets vary in size, but more so due to the size of the wearer's wrist rather than to create a particular look or suit an outfit.

Most of our bracelets are 7 or 7 1/2 inches as a standard, but most of them can be made to any size and for some you can select the size before adding a bracelet to the basket. If you have a delicate frame you may want to choose a shorter 6 inch bracelet whereas if you are a slightly heavier frame you might want to choose 8 inches. Please measure the length around your wrist and add on as much length as you would like for it to hang to your preference. You may want it fairly tight around the wrist or you might want it to "hang" down your wrist. If you see a bracelet that is not the right length for you and there is no option of selecting a shorter/longer one, please contact us and we will be able to make it to your length.
